Customer Service is a need in Home Depot. It is a value to the company to have employees assist each customer to fulfill their need and leave them wanting to return again. As things happen, people cannot control everything that happens and from time to time there are incidents involving customers displeased with the service they have received, many of which are posted on the Home Depot yelp review site. This is a problem because this gives potential new customers not wanting to go to Home Depot and could possibly go to our competitors. Customer service is one of the most important things a company should strive for, it is the customer satisfaction that makes the company grow.

Another issue is Quality,
some issues involved are lack of knowledge of a product, suggesting the wrong
product or simply trying to find a product. Some customers may be impatient,
but one must always be calm and collective when assisting anyone. These issues
can be simply resolved by proper training and great leadership to provide the
best quality a customer can receive.
Some solutions for Home
Depot to follow is they should invest in employee training to improve their
quality over web-based shops. Giving the employees knowledge of what they are
presenting to the customers. Continue to stay up to date on new technologies in
order to enhance the customer experience. With our society rapidly changing in
technology, companies need to stay up to date in order to survive in the
business world. Focus on getting the task done once and correctly the first
time to increase the quality of labor and decrease labor cost. Incidents have
occurred when a service was not done properly, leaving customers dissatisfied
and having to waste more time for the service to be done. This is unprofessional,
and another company will swoop in and gain those customers loyalty, which is
something Home Depot should not risk. And lastly, to train employees to know
the product in their zones to increase customer service by getting involved and
explaining the product to their best capabilities for the customer.
